here's an idea (for updating (for this and all other apps) create a bookmark folder called "downloads" and put all ur ota links (bought/free) into that folder, and just go to that link and dl the updates (or if no email regarding updates and u kno theres an update, just go to that link still and just bbmenu and refresh), thats wat i did, and its useful, no need to send urself a link nemore

Just downloaded this.. so psyched. it rules.. I deleted my weatherbug... and im assuming it's okay to delete BB Maps .. nothing else really relys on it? .. I can delete it and it won't effect google maps?

Yeah, delete BB maps if you arent using weatherbug. It wont affect anything.

My Icon doesn't seem to update itself. I have it set to update at 30 min. intervals. When I click on the icon it takes me to weather.com and it says no updates are available. When I click on preferances and submit, the updated weather, icon and temp is there, however it does not update on my home screen. I have double checked my settings and re-saved. Any other suggestions?

The icon might not always change. If it's the same as it was 30 minutes ago it wont change.

For example if it's cloudy 30 min ago and it's still cloudy the icon will stay the same.

is it possible that being on BES might interfere with the icon updating properly? I have the newest version installed, and my zipcode still will not work.

Yeah when you wake up it should be a different icon. Weather doesn't seem to change all that much, atleast in most places. The temperature might go up or down in 30 minutes though.

I have set the application permissions to: Connections = allow all, Interactions = all are allow except input simulation and browser filtering are deny, and recording+security timer reset are prompt. Lastly, user data = allow all. I can try setting them to allow all, but im not sure if those settings would cause the problem...

It appears that even after updating the app and adjusting my permissions, the icon wont update for 07094, and when i press the icon, it says weather data is not available. I entered the zip 10036 for new york, and the website had weather available, but the icon will still says "updating data"...any other suggestions?
