i dont know if its my BB or the app itself but when i try to open mango it would say

"This version of Mango is outdated. You'll need to update Mango to connect. Please update Mango at: h**p://mango*leetsoft*net [Error 4]"

I already installed the latest version 2.0 beta6 OTA.
Tried deleting the app then reinstalled it but still the same.

It was actually working about a couple of days ago before this happened.

I'd say this is probably the best app I could use on my phone so hope we can get a fix on this. Kudos to the developer!

i dont know if its my operating system (OS6) or the app, but i can't seem to open a bookmarked page. i can open a bookmarked chapter, or a bookmarked manga, but i can't seem to open a bookmarked page. this happens with all mangas in general.

this is the error that pops up.

"The Mango Service returned an error wen Mango tried to update this bookmark's information.

error: bad querystring(s)/getchapterlist.aspx?pin=%s&site=%s&url=%s"

I have a question for the developer -

First off, this app is amazing- probably my favorite app... and it's the #2 reason I stayed on blackberry so long. #1 was BBM and still is.

Now that this app is on Android, it's made it even harder to stay on BB. I'm still holding onto BB because of BBM, and the playbook coming out...

Which brings me to my question:

Are you going to be or are you developing Mango for playbook?

This would be much better on a bigger screen (especially for those of us whose eyes have seen better days).

Sorry for the delay in replying... for some reason I'm not getting email notifications when someone posts to this thread.

Unfortunately, I do not have any plans for a Playbook release. I simply do not have the time or resources to port thousands of lines of code to yet another platform, especially one that is unproven. Sorry. :'(

Well let me be the first to say, then, that I would LOVE to see a dedicated manga reader on Playbook, and Mango is the best one around.

I know with Playbook, we can just visit mangafox or onemanga websites or whatever we choose; but I would much rather have Mango. In fact I'd even be willing to pay for the app, and a lot. I don't know about other people but I'd pay at least $20 for Mango on Playbook.

Just throwing it out there. There are people who REALLY like this app and even depend on it; probably more than you know - people who don't even know about this forum. I'm sure a lot of them will end up with playbooks, just like me - and would love Mango. I know it's not an easy task, but take it for what its worth!

I don't know if it was new update that did this, but when I download and save chapters to my phone, I often get pages that failed to download correctly. This happens quite frequently. Also, mango occasionally crashes while I download chapters. And for some reason, the 'newest releases' button doesn't work and it keeps on giving me an error.

I don't know if these problems are just happening with me, and if so I guess it might be my blackberry. My blackberry is relatively new so I hope it isn't a problem on my end

I just want to say that I really enjoy this app, and I look forward to you finishing it. Thanks for you're hard work

Please send an email to mango@leetsoft.net and I'll try to walk you through some troubleshooting. I don't check this forum very frequently anymore.

I don't know if anyone still looks at this thread, but I have been using mango(aizen) on my playbook for awhile. I love it on the playbook. It was super easy to convert and works perfectly on my pb.
