Also incredibly important to notice is that PERMISSIONS MUST BE SET TO ALLOW INPUT SIMULATION. IF YOU DO NOT SET THIS UP EITHER WHILE YOU INSTALL IT OR AFTERWARDS, THIS APP WILL NOT WORK. Please verify you have done that before saying it doesnt work.

I posted this thread in another thread that talked about the same product. I expect his app to be quite a bit better, however he was talking about charging $5, and I am targetting the much lower end market. His app is not even available yet and people in there were asking for it. | well you just got caught in a lie. you said in his thread he had no idea he was making it. (which was ridiculous cause it has been on the front page daily for 2 weeks) but now your saying people were asking for it in there. so you did take his idea

I look through all the app request threads for ideas. If you want to consider that stealing I find that strange. Did Apple steal from Microsoft by making an operating system? Lets keep this thread on topic please.
The app works fine, if you need assistance, please email me.

I have to agree. A call-blocking app is not an original idea.

Very tempting. I would buy if the people, who call me, would not stop.

Who cares who "mentioned" it first on the forum. I've wanted an alternative to the iBerry crap I bought that doesn't work and am happy developers are working on something for us.
With that being said, this is a cool idea and I appreciate your hard work. Thanks for working on a USEFUL app.
- but it doesn't work well, and I'm surprised you're charging for, what basically is, a public beta.
A for effort, C- for the software (I'm sure it can/will be better), F for morals. (not that I'm someone who always has good morals though. )
You'll have my business when it's working as it should and with the features that everyone asked for. (I'd pay a little extra for it too if it's done correctly)
Good luck

Good luck | Thanks for the input. I do not consider it a public beta, but even if thats what you feel it is--its only $0.99 and I am offering free updates. I am doing my best to keep these apps simple and not implement every feature asked for. My goal is to make simple and affordable apps. What exactly isnt working on this app for you? Can you PM me so we can figure out what the problem is?

Good luck | Oh, and as for morals, we are making apps for a phone. I would save the religious and moral debates for more serious issues. I apologize to BBA if he feels I wronged him, but as of now, he has nothing to sell. His plans are for a more fully featured app at a different price point so we are hardly even competing. To be fair, BBA hasnt said a word, its only other people trying to give me crap on his behalf because, well, this is the internet. I can take it.
For those of you just looking for some simple, cool and cheap apps for your phone, I am doing my best to make them for you. You can't please everyone.

So who would buy this application if mine will be freeware?

Just because it wasn't available to you, doesn't mean the app wasn't out. I've been using Fabians CallsBlocker app for about a month and easy to use and nice interface.

BBA has done a great thing and released his app for free.
Ironic that cray1000 gives me trouble for posting my link in someone elses thread, then posts another persons link in my thread. For the record, I removed my post from BBAs thread.

Wow, this looks like a pretty cool app.
Perhaps I should've waited before I made the purchase. Had no idea another person made the same app, but for free. Still, what is done is done.
Am I one of the first 100?
