At a real casino, you RARELY come away with a profit, yet on ALL of your apps, I almost always come out WAY ahead. Your odds are WAY off abd should be tinkered wuth to reflect real odds. Your slot machine is the worst BTW, odds are way too favorable.
If you fixed this issue on all of your apps, I personally feel they'd be much better and more realistic.

Well the other apps have more payouts then the actual casinos. I can't seem to win though with them. If I lower the odds then people yell at me and tell me the game sucks etc. If I raise the odds people tell me it's unrealistic. It's a lose lose in my eyes =/

However craps is true odds. Each dice is randomly rolled and have the same odds of throwing 2 real dice. Craps is one of those games where you can make a lot of money really fast if you keep rolling numbers and can avoid the 7.

You win some and loose some, if you're winning a lot then you're either lucky or you're making good bets.

Question here: perhaps I am just missing something, but I seem to be having problems with playing the come. After first establishing a point and then betting on the come, once a new number is rolled the come bet gets transformed into a place bet. Then, if that number comes up again before a 7, it is paid out like a place bet rather than hitting a new point. Because the come bet apparently becomes a place bet, there is also no way to add odds to that bet. Am I just missing something?

Hmm valid point, craps is such a vast game I'm sure I would overlook something. I will be fixing this issue in the next release.

A couple more suggestions:

1. Allow up to 10X odds (rather than just 3X) on the pass line (and on come points once you fix those)

2. Allow odds bets to be put up and taken down at any time during a roll (only the pass line bet itself should be locked in)

3. When you have a place bet on a number that ends up becoming a point (whether on a new come out roll or as a come point), automatically take the bet down)

I think that covers everything i've seen. This is a great app and lots of fun. Thanks for the hard work.

DMG-great job. Best electronic craps game I've seen. Really, really nice.

Couple of things. An earlier poster is correct. 30:1 should be for 6 6, not 6 1. No casino anywhere pays 30:1 for a 7! Second, payouts on 6 & 8 place bets are off. If I recall correctly, $6 placed on 6 or 8 pays $7, not $8, $12 bet pays $14, not $15.

Thanks for getting this out. Great game.

I'd also like to see a 300 or max chip option so I can max a bet without 3 clicks.

I believe I've found another little bug: when you hit your point, the program pays you the profit on your odds and pulls your odds off the table, but it doesn't return the original odds bet back to your bank roll. That money apparently just disappears.

For example, say you start with $1000 and put down a $5 pass line bet. On the come out roll, you roll a 10 as your point, and then you lay down a $15 odds bet. Now you have $20 on the table, and your bank roll is at $980.

A few rolls later, you roll another 10 and hit your point. Just above your pass line bet, you will see a notation saying "+35", which represents payment for your pass line bet ($5 on a 1-to-1 payment) and your odds bet ($30 on a 2-to-1 payment). The program automatically takes down your odds bet, leaving only your original $5 pass line bet on the table. Meanwhile, your bank roll has been increased by $35, leaving you with $1015.

The problem is, because your original odds bet was automatically pulled down, at this point your bank roll should actually be $1030. The $15 from your original odds bet should be returned to your bank roll, but instead it simply disappears. In this scenario, you had $20 on the table and then won $35 (a total of $55); but when all is said and done, you have $5 left on the table but your bankroll only increased by $35. It should be increased by $50 (to include the original $15 that is taken down as well as the $35 profit just made).

Just purchased the app. I had no idea how to play craps, or even where to start for that matter. I looked up the rules online and started playing. I am ready for AC now! Well...maybe not yet.

Awesome app!

Barry
