.jar files freezeing . please help.

ive been loading jar files to my blackberry 8100 via usb and installing them on my phone. all the installations get completed, but then when i try to run the file, it wont allow me to click. it freezes on the main screen. do i need a .cod file on it too or something? any help is great.

What do you mean that didn't help? That lecture explains in detail how to install and manage third party apps. After reading it, you should have learned that jar/jad files are for OTA installs. Meaning you cannot load them through Desktop Manager. You need to go to the site that has the jad/jar from the BB browser to install it OTA. The app loader in desktop manager will only load ALX (which subsequently loads the corresponding COD).

i got it installed on my phone through teh memory card. you just load it onto it from your computer manually and explore the folder on blackberry. NOW when i load it all that happens is that the game starts, it shows the first couple of screens displaying the developers blah blah blah, then it freezes when it asks me to select a language.

What are you trying to load? Do you have the correct file for your model and OS version?
