Default Interesting - App asked me to add a review

I found this interesting. I use BeBuzz Free on my 9900. I was looking at my message inbox and then noticed a message that said something like:

BeBuzz - add a review

I clicked on it. A screen popped up and there was the option to leave a review, which I did, or to decline with "No Thanks." After leaving the review, I noticed there was an upgrade so then I upgraded.

I wonder if this is some API that allows the developer to ask for reviews.
Would be interesting if this was extended to PlayBook development.
Red blinking upper left corner - Please leave a review for such and such app...

I don't think its an API, the app just injects a message into your message folder.

I recently downloaded an app through App World and immediately got an email from the developer sent to my blackberry email address which is not associated with App World. I thought that was a bit peculiar.

What app did you get this from, and who was the developer?

BB developer here (not the BeBuzz developer to be clear though!).

There is no direct way to use the API to ask for a review per se but you can program your app to insert a message like that and then open the App World page of your app when the user clicks the right button.
