infospace find it is no more, it is now called Superpages Mobile Search as infospace was bought by the Superpages parent company Idearc. You can find it here:

wxw.superpages.com/mobile/

Replace the x in wxw....I couldn't paste the URL as my post count is not high enough

It doesn't even come close. A great application was replaced with a vastly inferior one. If you want a nice application that is similar to Infospace, try Tellme, Tellme.

I just looked at the superpages site. Was I shocked to read in the fine print that the first two searches are free and all subsequent searches are 30 cents EACH!! Fuggedabout superpages.

Does Tellme work on the curve?

hey, does anybody know if the current infospace charges you for searches (ie you already have it downloaded to your phone prior to it becoming defunct)?

Thanks!

As much as I hate it, I've finally dropped InfoSpace. I tried Tellme and it's nice but I didn't like the fact that I couldn't add addresses straight to my address book. I'm using Live search now and although the GPS doesn't use my exact location for a search, it does allow me to add the address directly to my address book if I want to. Plus it also allows me to speak a search variable.

Live Search Mobile

As a former member of the Find it team, thanks for enjoying & still trying to use the product. To say the least we were disappointed when we were bought out by a phone book company who has no idea how to make good software.

You can still download Find it by going directly to the page at bb.infospace.com/fid (they just redid the link on the home page to push you to Superpages). From what I've heard it'll probably stop working at the end of June.
