How to back up 3rd party apps

I really hope no one kills me for asking this, I did search the forums a few times for this and I just can't find it.
I am getting a replacement phone in a few days and I want to back up my games, apps and themes. I know I've seen it somewhere on how to back them up, but now that I need it I cannot seem to find it.
