Help finding the facebook 1.6 app

Does any one out there have the older version of fb 1.6 that they can copy and send me. I upgaded the other day to the new 1.7 fb and it wont work on my 8350 because of the BIS bull crap they added. I tried using desktop manager but no luck yet. PLEASE ANYONE HELP!!!! anyone have a copy of the 1.6 version pLease let me know!! Im a self made Booster.

Same place on blackberry.com where you go to download the 1.7 has a note at the bottom saying 1.7 will only work if... following that is a link to download 1.6 version... was there the last time I looked.

I followed the URLs instructions to download Facebook 1.6 to my device and received an error:

Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements 
that are needed to support Facebook.

I can not delete the current version of facebook from my BB because the only options are:

Move,
Move to Folder,
Hide

Will remove via BB Desktop Manager

Any guidance \ diagnostic questions are appreciated.

Here it is....delete what's in your phone and install 1.6 via DM.

The above mentioned file does not include ALX file. It says the file is not supported.
I am still not able to download facebook 1.6 to my 8830.
Any help is appreciated.
