OMG, I switched from the BB 8320 Curve last nite to the BB Bold 9700. How do I view the OS system? I had my fav's on front screen from TMO..this phone doesn't have the capability to show it. Ok, so I have d/l Card Kaller as it was working flawlesss on the curve. I have it on this new BB Bold and it doesn't show a dialogue box from addressbook to dial out as before. WHy? Now, I must manually enter the persons phone number from CardKaller. This will def hamper expeditous calls
Plse advise asap..this is driving me cuckoo

I was finally able to get this cardkaller working with a battery pull
I now see it on the full menu. I went to TMOB and this phone doesn't show the favv 5's/ However, they expect shortly it will show the icon.
Thanks

What is worse, I was one of their primary 'first string' beta testers. I put time into beta testing the app -- thinking, "great...at least my effort is helping the general public."

Pfffftttt. Sorry to say this, but this scenario pushes me to reconsider the next time an Israeli company asks for my help. This is *NOT* how to do business in the free market.
Sorry to bring up the dead, but I feel like you do. We beta test an app, AND pay for it then basically get told to f-off...Really irritating. Not only did everyone from here and other places do all the hard work, they banked on us...
And Ran...

/me is pissed

The original post to the GVdialer blog was changed to soften the explanation of what happened. I complained and the product manager said that they decided to quit when Google came up with their own app. Of course, I'm willing to believe that the original post was correct, and the app is still being used by another set of customers.

Anyway, I told 'em to give me my money back, and they did! It was less than $10 -- still glad to have it back.

Hey Butcherbird!

The original post was correct. I contacted Mobile-mx.com who now has the rights to the program we knew as GVDialer. I contacted them on behalf of my company' asking if their product (know as MobileMax) could be configured with Google Voice. Here is the reply they sent:

JD,

The simple answer is yes but we do not sell to individuals but to carriers or very large enterprises.
Can you send me more information around your request?

-Perry

Unfortunately, my company is not big enough to meet their requirements for purchase, so I'm stuck like everyone else.

sorry to hear that, jsmith.

yep, seem unethical to have people pay to be your beta testers.
