So I just went to place a call to someone in the US and it told me my cost for this call will be $0.06 per minute.
Any idea what that is??? They are even in a neighboring area code that is always free.

when you dial from the google voice app even if it's local ALWAYS put the area code, I noticed this too and all I did to fix it was add the area code.

Dumb question but I have a Company phone which they monitor calls being made outside the state..By using google voice does the out call still show up on the bill? Im in Florida and my family is out in California my company gives me smack about using it for personal use blah blah blah and i hate to carry 2 phones around so I was just curious to know if it shows on the bill a long distance call..? is it thru data or min?

If your GV number is considered a local number in your area then your good to go. It'll be as if you're calling someone in your area. No long distance.

Okay, after a few hours, I've finally gotten to the end.

I don't think I saw this issue addressed. Sorry if I missed it.

One feature I thought existed was the ability to take a call on my blackberry and then transfer the call seamlessly to another phone (work or home). How does one actually do that? Thanks.

EDIT: Okay, I see that you're suppose to hit the * key. But do you have to have your home or work number set to receive google calls? I don't want google calls going to work or home phone, but would love to transfer calls i get from my blackberry to such phones to save on battery power, for example.

Because they will not allow customers to cheat the system? if T-Mobile developed this application and offered it to their customer i could see the point. but when a 3rd party developer makes the application and the provider blocks CHEATING THE SYSTEM you really have no ground to stand on when it comes to that being the reason to leave t-mobile.
