google calendar sync problem FIXED

my problem was that events created on my BB were not getting pushed to the google calendar server after a sync. there were no errors on sync but it always said "new events 0". since my solution may be specific to the bold i posted it here. i coudln't readily find a thread already addressing this in the bold forum. after scouring the internet, below is every fix i could find for this problem.

first,

google sync/options/when to sync = automatic,
google sync/options/on conflicts = servier wins,
google sync/options/sync events for next = 24 weeks

then

google sync/sync these calendars/change option/add new HH entries to/<make sure this is not set to NONE>

options/security options/appl permissions/google sync/edit permissions/user data = allow

make sure no alerts are set to 0 min, they must be non-zero

Where do I set alerts to >0min? Everything else is set as above & it still won't sync

was set to NONE after i chose to sync multiple calendars - so beware...

Reminders:
when you open (edit) your calendar item, look at "reminder." one of the options is 0 min, dont use it. the default is changeable under "options/general options/actions/default reminder"
