Staino, I currently store my gmail contacts as "Last name, First name". It would be fantastic if you could get Conjola to have an option to deal with gmail contacts that are stored in that fashion. Now, to complicate things, some of my entries are stored differently, such as "My Closest Chinese Food", but these don't have a comma in them. Hope it's sort of clear what I'm trying to say.

Its clear. Ill have a think about this request. I could implement an option for lastname, firstname.

As for handling names that dont fit the rule such as your chinese food contact, Ill think of how I can handle it.

Not promising Ill do it - ill think about it.

Hi Everyone

I had someone email about the following function which I think everyone would like to see:

Run the sync in the background as syncing can take a while. This would free up the phone while it syncs.

Maybe a pop up message to notify that syncing has been completed.

Regards

i did the OTA for the latest beta and it downloaded successfully to my phone.

i put in my user and password and it said connecting. then i get a blank box and my only option is OK.

nothing new on gmail nothing new on my phone...

so basically, it isnt working, i cant even get to the syncing method where everyone is stating that it should freeze for the first time.

Have installed 0.16 and it seems to have fixed all the issues I have.

For the person above where it is not connecting, check that you have the APN set, this was a problem for me.

Regards

Jimbo

Great product.. Thank you for your hard work... Is there a background sync option yet / in the works? Thanks again for such a useful tool!

Im looking into at the moment. It would be of benefit to all users this feature. I just need to investigate the time it will take. It may have to wait until a later date.

This would be a great function. Though maybe not a popup. How about an option to see last report? And setting for how often you want it to sync - 30 mins, 1 hour, 2, 4, 5, etc

Good point. Auto sync option would also benefit everyone.

Maybe ill implement the auto sync option in a soonish release as it wont be too hard.

Here it is:

download the log file grabber
http://www.debosoft.com.au/conjolasync/GetLog.zip
* Attach phone to USB cable
* Run "getlog.bat"
* This will download the log.txt file
* Email log file to support@conjolasync.com

Im working on an a logger that integrates with conjola sync so there wont be a need for the USB cable soon - just a click of a button to email

Regards
