apps, games and widgets aside, I really admire Android's integration for all the google services being so conveniently accessible to google docs, calendar etc. If someone can make an app that does that for BB or playbook, I would be so happy haha.

I take it ide have to go through the longer winded process of logging into gmail manualy everytime i want to receive my e-mail, or just use a different e-mail client, oh dear never mind, hopefully someone will create a seamless intergration for bb one day aye.

At least that's what your profile says you have. So BB has better gmail integration than Android?

I knew that google stopped doing the gmail app for bb, but didnt know you can still have the e-mail sent straight to the phone, so thats real good news to me.

The link directly force opens the bbbrowser and the installation starts thereafter so u just need to click the link from ur bb with any browser. Then the usual: it will ask for permissions and u r good to go.

You can set up your gmail with your Blackberry as part of the BIS service and have your email pushed through using the blackberry service along with your contacts and calendar, no need to use the separate app. Just use the email setup wizard when you start up your blackberry.

Thats great info, so all my contacts etc should be able to sync straight to the device then? If so thats even more perfect.
