Unhappy Facebook Places.....grrrrrr
Ok guys...I have read and re read almost every post on this subjct and still no closer to gtting places to work

I have BB Curve 8520 using version 4.6.1.314
I have latest update from FB v1.9

Network 02 contract
GPS Data Source None (only has this option)
GPS Services Location ON

I changed my location from on to off to on again to see if it made any difference..no it didnt lol

Any help?? I only want it cos other ppl have it...and i feel left out lol

If I'm not mistaken, the 8520 doesn't have GPS.

You need to upgrade the handset to OS 5 to use Facebook Places, then it can use the locations services, obtaining information from the WLAN and 2G networks.

From that OS version, did you buy the handset from Phones4U?

How do I upgrade to OS 5?

No its originally a Virgin mobile which I changed over to O2
