facebook 1.5 Calendar Sync

I just found a support document on RIM's site documenting the steps outlined in this forum and that a permanent fix is to update to version 1.6 of the facebook app.

I would have linked it inline, but crackberry.com seems to think that newbies shouldn't be allowed to post links until they've got 10 posts. Idiotic. The link is typed out below, copy and paste at your inconvenience:

The page says it was last modified today. (6-2-09)

Does this mean that 1.6 is being released today or tomorrow? I cannot upgrade my fbook app yet in my blackberry and can't seem to google anything on it other than "sneak peeks" and hype about when it will be released...

Anyone know anything more?

New version of FB has the same problem. I ended up deleting it. Drove me mad. My calendar is beautiful now.

ahhhh thank you so much this was sooo annoying! i rely on my blackberry waaay too much for my calendar and today theme to be acting up! thank you a million times!

I don't know if it's the new version or if it's because I installed it correctly from the get go, but I gave 1.6 a try and my calendar's been fine.

Just make sure when in stalling to uncheck the calendar box for Facebook. So long as it doesn't initially install the cical, it shouldn't be able to come back.

so verizon replaced my curve with another and now i cannot get my facebook calender to sync with my blackberry one. this sucks and i dont know what to do, please someone help!!!

not only is facebook not syncing my calender but no pics with the friends or anything
