Question Empower Pro Problem

(I posted this on the main general form as well... not entirely sure where is the best place to post this question)

I wrote Empower early this morning and so far I've heard nothing so perhaps one of you fabulous Crackberry heads knows something about this;

I paid for EmpowerPro. So again, I have a registered version not a Trial. Last night this error message started appearing at the bottom of my incoming emails: "EMV: Connection Failure: License will expire soon."

I have no idea what that means. Why would my license be expiring on a paid/registered copy?

So then I went to my Empower Options under "About" and that same error message is there. There's a link that says getempower.com/ota but when I click it, it doesn't take me to an OTA (which I thought would be some kind of software upgrade) it takes me to what appears to be links to buy Empower products.

I'm very confused by all of this. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so what was the remedy?

Empower v 3.0.66.7 running on a Blackberry Curve 8320 OS 4.2.2.180

Hi Tania,
You wont need to purchase any copy of any Empower product if you have bought it once. All that the msg means is that there is some problem with your connection settings (have you recently changed permission or connection settings, enabled firewall or if you are on BES, then maybe your BES admin has made some changes). As you said, you have already written to support so we will be getting back to you. If you have not mentioned your device PIN in that email, you may just drop in a note with the PIN so that help may arrive faster

Question Empower Pro Issues

Howdy TDRock,

I am having the same issue as you stated in your original post and wanted to tap you to learn what the remedy was. Is it something specific to your particular phone or were there general instructions to follow that you can share with me/forum that will remedy this problem.

Just curious, I just got rid of empower because only half the email showed up. Any problems with viewing your email.

Empowers servers are having an issue right now...

Ani posted this earlier today on another thread:
Hi Guys, our database servers had started acting wildly due to some recent changes and brought down our hosting server with them. We are migrating to another server but this is taking time since the older data needs to be rebuilt.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.

We are working with our hosting provider to fix this issue asap.

All of empowers apps have been effected, hopefully we dont have too wait much longer...
