What app?

Perhaps you are not is a supported country? Or don't have the correct OS version on the device?

Your title is a little misleading. What you are wanting to do is to download an app that is made for your device, but the app has not gone through the AppWorld approval process. Go ahead and give it a shot. If your phone starts having problems after the install, at least you will know the culprit and it will be an easy fix. The app may work without a glitch. It's your decision.

I would like to have a go and see if it will work or if needs be download 7.1 as well

trouble is it wont let me downlaod the app

hence the question ... any way round it

You need to downgrade your OS and then download the app.

Your posts are very difficult to understand. I realize that there seems to a language gap.

How about some basic questions.
1. What OS version is on your device now? (Exact version)
2. What OS version is the application saying that you need to have in order to install it?
3. What app is it so that someone else can check?

Ok

This the app

Buy Profile Changer - Automatically change sound profile using Daily Timer, Calendar Keywords and Location - Download Profile Changer - Automatically change sound profile using Daily Timer, Calendar Keywords and Location - Buy Apps from BlackBerry Ap
All carriers all countrys supported

My model is a torch 9810 V7.0.0.585

I know there is the possiblity it wont work fully with my os, but i'd like the option to try..

so far ive spend art loads on other profile apps, only for them to do sod all. due to blackberys archaic lock / security system.

To have to unlock the phone for the app to change settings, defeats the whole purpose off the app lol....hence wanting this new one which overcomes the lock problem

Ok. It reads "Required Device Software Smartphone: 7.1.0 or higher"

Yes, you need to UPGRADE the device OS to 7.1 if you want to use that application.

Or try this application. Buy ProfilerX - Automate Sound Profile switching - Download ProfilerX - Automate Sound Profile switching - Buy Apps from BlackBerry App World

No. There's no other way. Even if you were able to some install it on the device, it would not work without the proper operating system.

Is there a reason you don't want to try updating the OS?

Ok. Well, then you will need to seek out a different application until you do so. No other way.
