| | DataViz Premium 2.0 upgrade on $9.99!!!
I just got on email this morning from DataViz.com informing me that their new Documents 2 Go Premium Edition + PDF 2 Go was available for only $9.99 as a registered user!
dont believe me?
if you have registered your Doc2Go product from your device, head on over to PDA Software - BlackBerry Software, iPhone Software, iPod touch Software, Palm OS Software, webOS Software, Google Android Software, Windows Mobile Software, Windows Smartphone Software, Symbian S60 Software - Developed By DataViz and login to your account. There was the offer right on my account page.
version 2.0 is available for OS 4.5, 4.6, and 4.7-5.0
I picked up my copy this morning - hopefully everyone else will as well!

actually got an email from DataViz with the offer.
here is the fine print on the bottom of that email...
*Normally $69.99. This limited-time offer only applies to single-user licenses of Documents To Go Premium Edition for BlackBerry OS devices. Offer does not apply to Documents To Go for Palm OS, Apple iPhone/iTouch, Android or Windows Mobile. Offer ends November 15, 2009. Offer only available via the links in this email message.
the email was sent out to the registered email address on my account. i only used the standard edition that came with the device/ OS 5 installs

I like the app, but it's not worth $69. plus another $9. for the 2.0 upgrade.
I use the standard edition and it does everything I need.

Ok, how many of you edit documents right on your BB? Seriously, how many times have you edited a document? In a year, I've edited a document twice.
I got the email and was quoted the $29.99 price. No way would I pay that for an app that was already $69. Should be a free upgrade if you already bought the premium edition. Poor marketing on this one, Dataviz.

Spreadsheets: a couple times a week. I'm not talking complete writing of them but using a compression machine calibration sheet when I'm in the field. I have some data logging spreadsheets I need to add info and do final analysis when I get back to the office.
Word: once

I didn't get any e-mail for the 9.99 upgrade and my web site still shows 29.99. So, I called up Dataviz customer service and asked them if they can upgrade it for 9.99 and they said no problem. So, I upgraded mine for 9.99. For those who still shows 29.99, call up customer service and ask them to do it for 9.99.
