Cross Platform Voice Chat?

I'm an Android user with a friend in a distant country, what app can be used to voice chat together over a data connection? (I'm in the UK, they're in South America)

I kinda surprised, I don't see a Skype app in the Blackberry App World?

Carriers are very much opposed to anything like that (obviously ). Afaik, there's nothing that will do that.
Maybe loudtalks, and you can always send a voicenote.
