has anyone had the problem where the icon updates but the description on the home screen doesnt unless you hit menu and then go back? it worked fine before i switched to 4.5.18 and it works good on 4.5 with the cross bar theme just not with the others including the "L" theme ; /

my weather eye works great except for mine refuses to show the sunrise and sunset. anyone else have this issue?

Works(ed) great!, however, I have stopped receiving long term forecasts in the last couple of days - data unavailable - current and short term works ok - anyone else have this problem right now?

Yes, mine has had the same problem for about the past 48 hours.. No long term forecast ?? Honestly I've never found a weather program that was dependable.

Same thing here. Just found this thread to see if anyone knew of a fix (and Rock Chalk...even if this year isn't so great)

EDIT 1/14/09 - My long term forecast just re-appeared.

Does this have to be left running in the background for the home screen icon to update?

The escape button gives prompt "Do you really want to exit?". Using the End button closes it, and it's gone from the app switcher.
