Default Blackberry symbol on facebook posts?
How the **** do you get this? This is the first time I've seen it and a lot of users on my facebook have blackberrys. I WANT TO SHOW MY BB PRIDE. I dont get that icon when I post from my facebook app!

I got a question. When you post from you bb does it atlest show the via facebook for blackberry smartphones? Cuz if not there is a couple of things going on that might be the reason.

I can't for the life of me remember were it is but there is a option either in the app or the bb itself to block sites from seeing or posting the "sumited or posted using blackberry". If you have this turned on you will not get your symbol.

The other thing it could be is facebook itself. I had a friend that got her bb well after me and got her symbol right away and i didn't. Facebook told me the server that my profile is one hasn't been updated yet and will be soon.

I always get it when I use the app, if you click on go to mobile site it will say "Via Mobile Web"

I noticed the new icon when I upgraded to 5.0. Before that it would just say posted Via Facebook for Blackberry.

you probably didn't have the newest fb version, or it reset the preferences to show it

I have had the newest all along and never had it before. Fb must have changed it cause its not related to the os or the app at all. When u post via the app, fb knows your using the app on a blackberry and adds the icon. You have no control over it.

the symbol only appears if you post a new status message from the FB4BB application.

For me, sometimes it shows the blackberry icon and sometimes it doesn't...weird
