I use this on my Mac and it's awesome! So I was so excited to be able to have it on my BB too and be able to go back and forth between the computer and BB syncing the file. Good find!

How were you able to turn off compatibility mode for the program? I couldn't find that option in the OPTIONS > ADVANCED > APPLICATIONS like the other program.

IIRC, it didn't show up for me in my Apps until after I did a battery pull. But it's there now. Other than a battery pull, I don't recall doing anything special. I did uninstall/reinstall several times b/c I had problems creating a database file with the software - it would hang at 85% encryption upon trying to create the initial DB, but I don't think it was a bberry issue.

They're essentially the same, though QP does have a scheduler now built in, but I'm not sure it actually works.

Soft Reset works for me, but I heard Quick Pull finally came out with a new version that now supports the Storm.

Why is it that when i visit this thread on my phone the body of the first post does not show up?

Not sure why, only shows up on wapforums, not through regular site.

I've tried both and even though there is a new version of Quick pull I perfer Soft Reset as the Reset button is bigger (i.e. easier to hit) and works in landscape view (I was not able to get Quickpull into landscape for whatever reason). But they really do the same thing so it's all preference.

There is no entry for Stormlock in APPS, you go to options and scroll down, there you will find STORMLOCK, click on it and you will be taken the registration screen.

I'd like to know about YouMail for Storm, without going through 49 pages worth of posts.

So if anyone uses it, give me the lowdown. Thanks

@6157:

A simple search for "free visual voicemail alternative app" will suffice for what your looking for.

Sign up for you mail and download VyMail. (work hand in hand)

I prefer Quickpull. The newest version allows you to schedule daily resets. They just got it ironed out. It has reset my device at the same time the last 2 days. Good luck!

Yeah I just noticed that. After upgrading to .86 I had to download it again. I guess I don't really need it anymore. I'm too cheap.

Tried the Quick Pull and its not as easy with the smaller 'button'. The Soft reset was simple and seemed less buggy. Its nice to have the auto schedule if i get it to work on QP. Was not easy to set the time.

Thanks for all the feedback!
