Default BerryBuzz Preferences Gone After OS Update

After updating my OS, I reloaded all my stuff and 3rd party apps and noticed that all of my preferences I set up in BerryBuzz are gone. Everything else loaded perfectly, but everything is set back to the default in BerryBuzz. Does anybody know how I can get this stuff back. As you all know, they take forever to set up. Thanks.

I think because it is a third party app, there is no way for RIM to access and save those options.

So you think I will just have to reset all of the reminders again?

You will likely have to reset your preferences and/or reactivate most if not all of your third party apps. This is a normal part of the OS upgrade, and is unavoidable.

When you installed the update, it backed up your user data, backed up your third party apps, wiped your phone, installed the new OS, and lastly reinstalled your third party apps and data. So it's like you just installed all of your third party apps brand new.

unfortunately yes, all 3rd party app settings are usually lost in an update. Its inconvenient i agree

Ok, thanks. I was sure I had done everything correctly (manual backup of everything and then a separate for the 3rd party apps) so it was a little disappointing that those preferences don't get saved too. I knew I would have to reactivate/sign in but didn't know preferences were lost. I guess I'll just get busy resetting my reminders.

Default BerryBuzz after update

I'm sure I'm missing the obvious, but how do I reset the options?? There's no icon for BB and when I go to Options...Advanced Options...BerryBuzz, I can view properties and edit permissions but I don't see anything that will let me set colors, etc. Where is that?

I would go over to the thrid-party apps threads and post this question there, in the Berry Buzz thread if there is one. I don't have the program, so can't help you but they should be able to over there.

Don't go into advanced options, just look for Berry Buzz in options.
