BeeJive Notifications in Status Bar?

Apologies if this has already been asked. I couldn't find anything on it... I have a Curve 8330 on Verizon if that makes any difference...

Well, with many applications on my curve, if I get a notification, it shows up in the status bar at the top on the home screen with a small icon and a number. For example, when I get an SMS, a small icon with a 1 next to it shows up.

As far as I can tell, BeeJive doesn't do this. It will put a small icon on the BeeJive launch icon to indicate a new message, and it will blink the LED, but there's no icon up top. Any way to fix this or any reasoning behind it? Thanks!

I have a Bold (OS 4.6) with BeeJive, and it displays a chat bubble in the notifications area (does not indicate number of messages, but just that new message was received) I believe this feature is dependent on the OS version.

What version are you on? It may require 4.5 or 4.6+. If you have 4.5 and it doesn't show, it probably requires 4.6 or higher.
