Battery drain after download/upgrade of apps.

I`m running an OS5 BB Onyx and all seemed to run smoothly before. I always ran twitter and yahoo messenger for blackberry and it drained my battery, but i knew that was a given.

BUT, just recently, i decided to upgrade twitter and ym to their newest versions. AND also, i downloaded Crunch SMS. After that, sever battery drain began. Even if ym and twitter for bb were closed, it still drained my battery. I tested if there's really something going on when I fully charged my phone at 9PM and slept. Woke up at around 6:30AM and guess what, the LED was blinking orange signalling super low battery.

What should I do?

I'd try deleting Crunch SMS first and go without it for a day to see if it makes a difference in the battery drain.
