Default AutoStandBy

Hello everyone... I just purchased AutoStandBy. I can't use it propertly because I'm using OS 5 . If anyone wants it they can have it. Just let me know what needs to be done to get it to you.

Oh, Autostandby does not work under OS 5 - might be a reason for me to NOT upgrade.

Well I've been using 'AutoStandBy' in both my OS 5 operated units, the 8900 and the 9700 forever without major problems, that been said from time to time is just 'Unable' itself., no biggie just hit 'Enable' again in those rare cases....good luck !

Yeah I've had the issue where it turns itself back on. Pretty annoying. Therefore I won't be using it anymore.

It depends on your device. On an 8530, or anything with OS 5 and media buttons, AutoStandby will put your device in the Media folder instead of into standby. They are aware of it but don't know when/if they can fix it.

I *think* I found the fix for it turning itself back on. After many experiments, I found that setting the "seconds to wait after screen blanks" to 1 will prevent it from turning back on without the Autostandby enabled. The 1 second gives just enough time after it 'wakes up' to re-hook the application.
