my friend just got an app for his jphone and it syncs his facebook profile pics with his contacts on his phone and it was one of the coolest things i have seen these apps do so far. the strom being a powerful phone should be able to do this to can someone create an app like this that would go into facebook and automaticly download the profile pic for the coresponding number

Your facebook app already has that built in. If you go into options and click the contacts setting it will sync their pictures. I hope thats what you're looking for! Sorry if its not!
