there is another thread for this, and in that thread there is a letter from the makers of Dynolicious saying that they are working on a storm version.

too bad its just as inaccurate as a g-tech. i was just talking to a friend about this, we put his car on a dyno and then used this app and it was off by over 40HP. which is alot when his car is only 260hp.

What kind of dyno? I know that there are different kinds of dynos that give different kinds of results too.

I watched video of this on youtube of dynolicious (on iphone) being compared to g-tech... it out performed and was off by a hundreth of a second in times and on mph like less then 5....g-tech was WAY worse...

I wouldnt mind trying it for less then 20 bucks... the cost is so cheap...

it was a chassis dyno. to the previous poster, i agree the timing stuff works well, but the HP is way off according to my friends results.

i had an old gtec from like 1999 and it also worked great on 0-60, etc but also sucked for HP. i think the issue is these things just cant accurate measure hp.

did the app read Higher or lower 40hp... if it read higher you have to take into consideration gear and airflow... if your making a pull in 4th gear (5 or 6spd) on a dyno there is no "ram air" but if your moving 60-140 mph there is more air ramming into intake = more power.

if you set the weight and transmission loss correctly it can be very accurate. Obviously the HP isnt going to be as accurate as a real dyno but if you want to see gains, it works well.

Do a run before mods.... then do one after. The change in hp is what this app is better for then an actual measure of actual hp since vehicle weight and transmission loss can be innaccurate.

This app uses fairly simple math/physics to calculate the times.
