Default App Issues While Charging

I've had my curve 9360 since mid-June 2011, and it's basically in mint condition. I've dropped it a few times like anyone else but it has no issues aside from having to do a battery pull when apps get slow or freeze (which my friends who've had blackberries longer than me tell me is normal). I had to buy a new charger a few months ago when I lost the original one which has been working perfectly until more recently... Every time I plug in my charger the screen goes all crazy opening random apps (mainly the clock and timer) when I'm trying to use my phone while it's plugged in. It seems to be very sensitive to the charger whenever I move the cord around and then the apps all open and interrupt my text/bbms/app usage. Does anyone else have this problem or know what I can do to fix it? My phone is still under warranty but I don't want to have to bring it in if I can avoid it.

What kind of charger did you buy? Is it the same as the original?

Yep it's the exact same, I've just noticed I can actually see a light from the charger hole coming from inside the phone, so I'm guessing isn't aligned properly anymore and it's causing this issue... Do you think my warranty would cover this?
