(Announcing) Gps Nautical Charts app for Blackberry

Hi,

We've released the first version of Nautical charts app for Blackberry, that serves as a navigation aid for mariners.

The app includes fully offline GPS accurate NOAA RNCs® along with POI layers created from NOAA ENCs® covering entire USA (other regions coming soon). We do special processing to create chart bundles that merge RNC chart data available across multiple scales to a single bundle. The object layers available in equivalent ENCs are also available as layers for the same chart and are searchable.

Some of the features in this release are:

• Download any NOAA RNC chart in US for offline usage
• Auto Follow Mode
• Seamless mosaicing of chart, whenever possible
• Distance/Bearing tool
• Create custom way points
• POI layer for each Chart derived from ENCs
• Search POIs/Way points
• Pan/zoom/locate yourself
• Record GPS tracks
• View tracks overlay
• Live track animationTrack analytics/stats
• Export tracks in GPX format.

I would really appreciate if you could kindly share which Canadian region you are looking for (Central Canada/Great lakes, Atlantic Coast, Pacific Coast etc.).

This would help us in prioritizing.
