My apologies if this has been posted before.

I was able to install Amazon app on Bold 9930. It appears to be working fine.

Here is what I did:

1) I used my browser on Curve 8900 over WiFi (should work over BIS) to connect Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/bb?t=crackberr...bUvbUpU6702857)

2) Select the Amazon app and follow the link until you see the screen with the “download” button (don’t click download).

3) From download/install screen, copy the URL to the 9930 browser and you will be provided with a “download” button for installation.

Done

Sorry no workaround for the Kindle.

I'm surprised they hadn't fixed that already. One of my most-used apps, and I had a similar issue when I picked up the Style. But I've been using it ever since the 8330.

I can't get it to work. I tried deleting my history and cookies and even tried going through Opera. Just tells me there is a problem with the download.

Here below is the tru URL @animlmed. As you can see it clearly states the model of the BB i was using to obtain the link. My only guess would be to replace that particular area of the URL with your phone name and model number.

I use tiny url for obvious reasons.

I click on the link and note in the address bar that it is for the storm 9550 (which I assume is the way to trick amazon into letting you download). When I click on the link on my 9930 I still receive the "there is a problem" note. I even tried to change that portion to different models but I still cannot get it to download. Seems like a hassle since the link keeps changing. Couldn't you just use BB Boss or BBSAK and extract the COD files for the app and post it here? That would be a lot easier than what you were doing

Never mind I got it installed. If anyone cares to know all I did was install a User Agent switcher extension for Firefox then set the User Agent to a Bold 9000 to get the download link. Then just emailed it to my 9930. Works good
