Accessing blocked apps in app world?

A lot of apps in appworld are blocked in uae.
Is there a way to use a proxy or something to be able to download these apps somehow?

I just got a new BB 9810 here in Oman. BB apps are blocked. Even using a VPN on my laptop, it's blocked.

Is there anyway to put a VPN on my BB? I'm not with a company or anything-so there is no company VPN, etc.

Would that work?

Or, do I need to go to another, unblocked country to download?

You may be able to load them if you get OTA links, or .cod files for them.
