Within the (stock) camera app am I able to rotate the picture? Or do I have to open the picture in another app just to rotate it?

The BB camera app takes pictures and does nothing else.

Thank you for your response. Guess it's not the answer I was looking for, was hoping there was some secret to flip the picture. Coming from BB10 some of the stock/native apps were amazing compared to the stock Android apps (possibly this camera app was made by BlackBerry, don't know). I hate how I have to open or download another app just to do a simple additional task. Guess this is Android and I should get used to it.

You can rotate photos in the stock Google Photos App that comes pre-installed. You can also do this from within the camera App by selecting the previous photo taken in the bottom left corner and then selecting the edit pencil. The rotate option is in the bottom right corner of the edit menu.

That's how I normally do it. Works fine for me
