I prefer minimal apps on my home screen and put it all into a couple folders in bb10 and launch apps with keyboard shortcuts. Does android support folders?

simply drag an icon on top of another and the two will automatically be placed in a newly created folder. Repeat for more icons you want to move to the folder.

Just about any respectable Android launcher, the stock Blackberry one included, support folders.

HOWEVER Android tends to use a homescreen + app drawer approach unlike the app drawer-only approach of iOS. Many aspects you can change about Android and I think you'll enjoy the potential for minimalism.

The issue for me is that you can only have folders if you put all your apps on the main front page home screen, and I keep that blank. I have my apps on succeeding screens, and folders can't be created on those screens .....

    An oversight imo ....

Are you sure? I'm pretty sure you can create a folder on any page.
