    They can do all kinds of things... even install Android on a BB10 device.

    But if you are asking if they could take your Droid and root it without your knowing... .without wiping the phone. I don't think they would want to have that capability, would be leaving an access point other might eventually take advantage of... and would be a can of worms in general.

    But then Chen did denounce Apple for not unlocking their phones... who knows, what kind of backdoor capabilities Chen had built in so he could gain favor with law enforcement. (that's just sarcasm... I think)

    For sure they can... when i got my device back from repair and they re-locked it back to the carrier and changed my unlock code that means they have access to backend services via their network to all devices once in hand.

    No since I deleted myself...
    But we are always told the mep codes stay the same and unable to be modified by anybody... so...

    Was thinking they just autoloader reloaded and set a other config. If data was stilll on it a d pqd was changed thats a diffrent story

    You can't root the PRIV or DTEK50 thus why it is more secure right from the start compared to any other Android device.
