Hi there. I reckon it is about time for me to kiss my beloved BB10 goodbye. Am thinking of migrating to either DTEK 60 or KeyOne.

I would love to keep my Passport SE as backup though. Assuming I cannot use the same Blackberry ID on more than one phone, I am thinking of signing up a new Blackberry ID when activating an Android device. This way I can keep using my PP with min fuss.

Any downside to this? Do I need to use the old BlackBerry ID for migration purpose? Surely I cannot port old apps from BlackBerry World to new phone for obvious reason. For BBM I am down to using it only with family members so asking only them to switch user is not a major undertaking. Data in Password Keeper can be ported manually I guess.

Anything else I am missing? Many thx.

    Kelvin

You only need a BBID for BBM on Android phones.... even the BlackBerry ones.

You will need a Google Account.

As stated above there's really not a huge need for the bbid with Android.

This baby runs on Google so you'll need a Google account.

There's also a content transfer app to help with moving the data over.
