Default when user is reactivated on bes...it only go back on 1 weeks of email...

how do we activate him if we want to go back longer? like 2 months of email on his blackbery? can we do that on the bes? or this is not possible and it is just the way it is designed? we are using bes 4.1.7.23. thx in advance.

It's the way it's designed. EA downloads 14 days of 750 emails, whichever is met first.

ok my final question is this...what if you want more than the standard 14 days or 750 max messages on your bb when you are activated on bes? is there any possible way? like after activating on bes, can you do a backup and restore using blackberry desktop manager? yes or no? if yes, steps by steps instruction would be great. thx in advance.

No. It is by design. Just curious, why need more than 750? Doesn't this person have a computer?

yes person has a computer but he is an executive...he wants 2 months worth of email so just in case if he needs to forward or look up info while he is away from the computer. u can't argue with executive...they get what they want.
