Default What may have happened to his Enterprise Activation

Hi

I have a coworker that just used DM 6.1 to switch devices from an old Curve to a Bold 9900. He brought the SIM over from the Curve (previously on corporate BES) to the new Bold. He's on Rogers ntwk.
The switch worked, data transferred but then he entered an incorrect Enterprise Activation password. Now there is no Enterprise Activation, in the device Options, on the 9900 for him to re-enter his email and the correct password. He has done battery pulls.

What should we try?

was the option there before he did the switch? i've encountered with both verizon and at&t that sometimes they have to actually push out the changes on their end when the enterprise activation is not an option at all.

He says it was there and that he typed the wrong activation password. I am a bit skeptical but he's in another office so...you know what that's like.
It's working now, we connected (by wire) and ran through DM again.

Thanks

Default Bes option gone!

Your co-worker is not going crazy I am having the exact same problem and cannot fix it. I had a sim from my old Torch, I just bought the 9900. When you first start off there is an option for BES activation but I got the password wrong when I first started off.

Now the BES activation is completely gone leaving me with no optons.

Can anyone help....literally have no idea now!

^ If at all possible, connect the BlackBerry device to a PC running Desktop Manager and a 'wired' Enterprise Activation should begin.

How To Activate Your BlackBerry on a BES Without Wireless Enterprise Activation
Steps to activate a BlackBerry smartphone by connecting it to a computer using BlackBerry® Desktop Manager:
Make sure the user’s account that you are trying to activate is added onto the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for BlackBerry Enterprise Server use on the user’s computer with their mail profile setup on it. (Note: The computer must have an active connection to Microsoft Exchange)
------> BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5 and above: On the integration page when installing the Desktop Manager select to integrate Desktop Manager with a work email account -> Redirect Messages using BlackBerry Enterprise Server -> Microsoft Exchange.
------> BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3 and below: On the integration page when installing the Desktop Manager select integrate with BlackBerry Enterprise Server -> Redirect Messages using BlackBerry Enterprise Server -> Microsoft Exchange.
Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the Desktop Manager. (Note: Server Status should show ‘online’ on the bottom bar of BlackBerry Desktop Manager.)
The activation should begin automatically within a minute. The screen on the BlackBerry smartphone will display an activation status once it begins.
