Default User Name on lock screen

I'm either not finding or not understanding the actual way to do this on BES 5.01

Right now I am using an IT policy to set user name and information within the COMMON folder. Is there a way I can get the "Set Owner Information" to appear on the lock screen instead of the information within this tab in the policy?

Thanks.

On the device go to Options, Owner and type in what you want the "lock screen" to say.

Thanks. I'm already aware of this but I'm trying to do this through the BES. LEt me re-phrase.

Currently my IT policy is hard coded for user name to equal my company name. However, I discovered while managing users, there is an option for setting the Owner Information.

How can I get the IT policy to use that information (different user name for each device) rather than what is put in the COMMON area of the policy.

If you go to the user's device profile in BES, towards the bottom, there is an option to Set Owner Information. You'd have to do this for every device, and I don't know if the information in the Common section of the IT policy would override it or not as we don't have that policy enabled.

It would be nice if you could put %username% right?

Exactly!!

I can't believe RIM hasn't thought of this. The information field is more than big enough to put company info and a phone #.
