Use BES & Google Sync, is it possible?

I am not a BES admin but thought this would be the best place for the following question:

I'm currently on my company's BES (with little/no IT policies) and hoped to do the following: have my work contacts, calendar, tasks via BES and have my personal contacts, calendar via Google Sync. Is this possible or has anyone have any suggestions to do this?

I ask because before upgrading to a Storm2 i tried to do this and had my Gmail account to enable sync'ing but i couldn't figure out how to prevent my BES contacts and Gmail Contracts from syncing together. What was happening is my BES contacts would show up on my Gmail address book (online) and vice-versa. I'm trying to see if there's a way i could keep these two seperate yet allow each to be syncing with the desktop & Gmail address book.

Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
