Default Upgraded to BES 5.0.1 -- Time issue

Hey all!

I just upgraded to BES 5.0.1 and everything went well until I tried to login

I can't login to just the console, I must log in with the service account on Active Directory.

I did hear that a time issue could cause problems with logging in -- my BES states " Time Date Display Defined By: Browser Time Zone (GMT -4)" I'm on GMT -5, and my Windows time is correct. Any ideas on how to change this in BES 5.0.1?

You do not need to log in to the BES Admin Console using the BES Admin account. You can login to the BES Admin Console using any AD account that you specify inside the BES Admin Console as a Security Administrator. You do that via BlackBerry solution management -> Administrator user -> Create an administrator user. In the user name field, enter the AD account name that you want to log in to the BES Admin Console. In Role choose Security Administrator, then click on Create an administrator user.

I hope I got your question right.

Thanks.

I wasn't sure if the log on in to AD directory was still the same as the local admin per the BAS.

I have all permissions with the AD account. Thanks for your help.
