Default trouble transfering to BESX

I'm hoping somebody can give me some insight.

I am trying to migrate over to BESX on a seperate machine. Currently I have BES 4.1 on the same machine as SBS2003. It's stretching the resources and I need the better functionality of BESX 5.03.

I installed BESX onto a Server2003 machine and went through all of the steps as oultine by RIM (and digging through here too). I am using the same BESadmin account that I have currently working on the 4.1 environment. I went through and updated all of the permissions per the documentation.

I was having troubles adding a user, and it wouldn't allow me to browse the Domain either for users.

Using myself as a guinea pig, I used transporter to migrate myself to the new server. That seemd to work, everything showed up on the new server and looked good. However, no e-mails in either direction, no calneder sync, no nothing. I could send a PIM to my BB though. Rechecked all the permisssions, but couldn't find anything.

I tried reactivating it, got the e-mail from RIM but nothing happend on the phone. For now I've fallen back to teh origianl server, which reactivated without a hitch.

I'm sur ethere's a real simple fix but I'm not smart enough to find it, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

JR

I'm guessing the problem lies in the Exchanged interface to the BESX. I'm not sure how that connection gets made (Im a Domino guy), but it looks like your phone is looking at the new server and Exchanged is looking at the other.
