Default Target_database_unspecified

Hi Guys

I am running BES5 with Domino 8.5 and some of my users cannot sync their contacts.

The error message in the SYNC log is Notes connector responded TARGET_DATABASE_UNSPECIFIED for Initialize on Address Book, return DATABASE_NOT_FOUND to the device. [<USERNAME>:390, SID=1680747002, CLID=7, ECLID=3, TB=0]

Their email and calendar are syncing OK.

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas how to fix it.

Thanks

Andy

Make sure you have the Address book synchronization for the address book set up correctly. I don't know when it changed, but now when I add a new user, it does not automatically do this.

Go to the User's account on the BES. Under the Messaging configuration section, click Default configuration. Then go to the Organizer data synchronization tab. Make sure the Address book section is filled out correctly. It's helpful if you can compare with one of the users that is working.

Thanks, that worked.

My BES used to fill this in for me as well. I wonder what has changed.
