Syncing issue with emails

I am using a BESX server and a Blackberry Tour for my phone.. The issue is when i get a email my computer and blackberry are not getting them at the same time (they were on our old server). I dont know if there is a setting on the new server i am missing? My other problem is that when i read a message on my blackberry it doesnt say its read on my computer, same goes with reading a message on my computer, my blackberry will say it hasnt been read yet. Can i fix this?
