Sync Contacts through Desktop client instead of BES?

I know this has been visited in some forms, but here it goes:

My BES contact sync sucks. I can not figure out why it will not sync some contacts and not others.

I was thinking that if I could sync via desktop, instead of BES, it would sync all of them.

Will this cause an issue if I turn off wireless syncing?

If you go into the contacts on the device and go into options, then hold the alt key and type rset. It should prompt to delete all contacts from the device and download all your contacts again. This may fix you issue. Otherwise switch off wireless sync in the address book options and use the desktop manager to sync your contacts via the wire.
