Default Switching from BES 4.1.6 to BES 4.1.6 MDS applications only

Hi,

We currently run a exchange 2003 with BES 4.1.6 by which all the users are activated on the BES through enterprise activation.
We are phasing out exchange nad using Google apps now but would like to keep BES for the MDS applications since w have in-house applications still.

Is there a way by which we can only take out exchange portion from the BES and keep the MDS and applications running through the enterprise
what changes needs to be made on the BES in order to do that

thanks for your input
Prab
