Subfolders not Syncing Older Emails

I have Microsoft Exchange with subfolders set up in my inbox using BES. I was recently issued a "new" BB 8830, and have already set it up for folder re-direction and turned off "hide read messages." Though all new messages that are filtered into subfolders show up on my BB, none of the SUBFOLDERED messages pre-dating this device show up. The strange part is, all old e-mails from my "inbox" appear on my new BB, this problem only applies to items that rest in the inbox's subfolders.

Any suggestions?

That is the way it is designed. When you sync a new BB it will transfer over a certain number of old emails/days worth of email (The rule is set on the BES). I think the default is 300 emails. This only applies to the inbox and not any sub folders.
