Default Send/Receive email from multiple domains

    Hello, all.

I have a somewhat unique situation although I'm sure others have encountered this before.

I have been wrestling with this idea for about 3 weeks and so far have come up empty.

I have an Exchange 2010 environment where I receive email for multiple domains. My users need to send/receive email from these different domains.

I can receive email from all domains without any issue. My problem is replying to email that came in to a domain other than the primary SMTP domain.

I have tried setting up "dummy" BIS accounts with incoming BIS being blocked by the device firewall so that I can reply from the BIS account when I receive an email from one of the secondary domains but I cannot reply - I can only forward.

How would you guys address this? I feel like other people, especially with mergers/acquisitions, have to have gone through this before but I can't seem to get it working right.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
