Default Removing third party apps via BAS/BES

Hi All,

I've rolled out some apps to some handsets via our BES (5.0.3) and am trying to remove them. I've followed the guidance here:

KB05392-How to control and remove third-party applications using whitelisting in a software configuration

This document suggests that you need to create a new software configuration with no apps associated with it, with the "unlisted applications" attribute set to Disallowed. Well, I've done this and the three apps (Twitter, BBM & Blackberry Bridge) are still on the handset.

Is there some trick I am missing here?

I figured this out - it was Blackberry Messenger that was causing the problems. Because it isn't classed as a third party app BBM can't be removed via a software configuration. Once I'd removed BBM from the equation I was able to remove the other apps using the method above.
